I first met Miss Loan 10 years ago when she was waiting tables in the famous Chi Cafe. She had left her family home in Trang Bang to come to Hi Chi Minh City for work. Now, after many years working for Chi she has taken a huge step and opened her own cosy little Cafe in front of the Yen Trang Hotel at 28/23 Bui Vien St District 1. HCMC.

Loan has put together a great menu to cater for all tastes including a hearty western breakfast to get the day started and Vietnam’s very special “Cafe Sua Da” (Rich milk coffee on ice). If it’s not on the menu the staff will do their best to make what you want even if they have to dash out to get some extra ingredients. Now that’s service.

Loan Cafe offers a comfy vantage point to relax and enjoy the Bui Vien street scenery. Having spent many years serving tourists in Ho Chi Minh City Loan has a wealth of local knowledge and good English ability so don’t be afraid to ask her advice on anything “Vietnam”
