First of all, we want to thank Saigon-life for letting us introduce ourselves. Now we will give you a quick overview of
SaigonBikes: Who are we?
We are a group of German and Vietnamese people working together to create saigonBikes in Ho-Chi-Minh (Saigon). What do we offer?
When you arrive in Vietnam, you will see bikes everywhere you look around. It is the quickest and smartest way to get through Saigon. What we are offering is a renting service for bikes. Also, and for your safety, we are offering free equipment like helmets and bike locks as well. In case you would have any issues with the bike you are renting, we will support you and repair the bike for you.
Our other two services that we offer are: converting foreign driving licenses to Vietnamese driving licenses, and we are also offering driving lessons for foreigners. During the driving lessons, foreigners and expats can learn how to master the traffic in Ho-Chi-Minh and how to drive safely.
Why do we start saigonBikes?
When we first arrived in Saigon, the biggest problem for us was to find a trustworthy bike rental, who would offer us a high-quality bike. Another service that we have been missing is a helpful service, which is helping out if anything happens. It is especially hard for foreigners and expats because most of the Vietnamese people cannot speak proper English. It was also difficult to get used to the traffic because there was nobody who would teach us how to drive. We also tried to get the Vietnamese driving license. It was really difficult because the employees in the public offices usually cannot speak English good enough to get you through the process.
We want to give foreigners and expats who are living and working in Saigon a good service and a trustful environment. We will do our best to provide you with the best experience for driving in Vietnam and when you need us, we have a 24h emergency service (just in case).
